What Is OLEV?
The Office for Low Emission Vehicles is a team working across government departments to support the introduction of electric vehicles in the UK. They are providing over £900 million to help the UK develop, manufacture and use low emission vehicles and electric cars. Their aim is to foster adoption, reduce greenhouse gases, reduce air pollution and support the economy.
How Much Is The Car Charging Point Grant?
The OLEV grant is £350 towards the cost of purchasing an EV charging point. When you hire an OLEV approved installer they will apply for the grant on your behalf. So you don’t have to worry about the paperwork.
